Why we are we doing this?

The Challenge

The Sector Knowledge Sharing (SKS) project seeks to explore and address the fragmented state of knowledge in the nonprofit sector. Despite the hard work that goes into developing and carrying out innovative projects, insights about the different approaches and outcomes to solving problems are rarely shared with other organizations. This limits our ability to learn and impedes the sector from using its human and financial resources more efficiently.

Creating open-source information infrastructure for the sector can help solve the knowledge mobilization problem we face.

We want to help the sector understand this problem and collectively come up with solutions. Our goal is to improve the sector’s ability to learn together in order to enable and activate better research.
